BBQ Pit Bros - Des Moines, Ia.
BBQ Pit Bros consists of Head Cook Jordan Williams and good friend and helper Richard coming from Des Moines, Ia. This is their 4th year representing Smokehouse 72 rubs and is coming off winning Backyard Team of the Year in the Iowa BBQ society back to back. This year they plan to move up to the master level.
Bucknutz BBQ - Clarinda, Ia.
New this year we welcome Luc and Blake Berndt from Bucknutz BBQ.
Luc and Blake Berndt and their three children are from Clarinda, Ia. and started cooking competition bbq as Bucknutz BBQ in 2018.
Bucknutz cook in the master series in Iowa and KCBS circuit.
We are happy to have them aboard this year and look for great things coming from Bucknutz trailer!
Chester's Twisted Que - Mystic, Ia.
Chesters Twisted Que is a husband & wife competition bbq team. Chris and Jamie Chester are back for a second year with us. They kicked butt last year in the IBS backyard series placing 2nd place overall in Team of the year standings for the second year in a row.
We are honored to have them be a part of our team and using our rubs this year!
Low Eye Que - Corning, Ia.
Low Eye Que is a second-year team with us this year. Head cook Marc Carr and his team had an amazing year last year and I am sure he is ready to get started again knocking it out of the park this year. We look forward to watching their progress this year.
Smokin' Lefty's BBQ - Omaha, Neb
Smokin' Lefty's BBQ out of Omaha, Nebraska is with us for their 4th year. They are brothers Dave and Jim Feder and have been competing for over 14 years. Some of their accomplishments include a couple Grand Championships and multiple Reserve Grand Championships. They recently had success in 2023 taking Grand Champion at Shenandoah, Ia. which punched their ticket to the American Royal invitational and a draw for the Jack Danials. They consider one of their greatest accomplishments being a 4th place finish in Ribs at the 2018 American Royal.
Family Tradition BBQ - Mil0-Hartford, Ia.
Family Tradition is joining us for the first time this year. The cook the Iowa BBQ Society backyard series and a few KCBS master level contests. Last year they placed 4th overall with IBS with numerous 1st place calls in ribs and chicken.
We look forward to watching them grow in 2026.
