5th Annual Frostbuster

Please see the top tab to Enter the 5th Annual Frostbuster BBQ Event help April 18th of this year.

Hi Teams and Judges!!

The 5th Annual Frostbuster BBQ is coming up quick. I'm sure you are all ready to get cooking and put this long cold winter behind us. I know I am....;)

We are a few weeks away and things are coming together nicely. We have 10 teams signed up to this point. We have room for 2 more teams so if you know somebody that might want to practice or get started in competition cooking, please let them know.

Go to the Frostbuster website to see all the teams, judges and all the great partners that help make this a great event!. As stated in on the website, the first 8 teams on the list will receive 1 pork butt and 1 brisket to cook at the Frostbuster with all the remaining meat to be turned back in to us (Smokehouse 72) and we'll donate the meat towards the Sleeping Angels Foundation Fun Run. If you would like to donate any of your other pork or brisket, it would be greatly appreciated.

Grand Champion!!!

We did it!  August 30th-31st this year we traveled North and East to Warrens, Wisconsin to compete in the 3rd Annual Smokin' in the Bogs BBQ Championship.  Out of the field of 37 teams, we placed 1st in Chicken, 2nd in Ribs, 14th in Pork and 10th in Brisket to grab the Grand Championship!
This win gets our name put in the hat for the Jack Daniels World BBQ Championship to be held this year on October 26th.  The pull for the Jack will be this Friday, September 6th.  Wish us luck.
Also with this win, we will recieve an invite to the American Royal BBQ Championship in Kansas City in 2014.
Looking forward to hitting another win soon!
